Long was the first into the clubhouse of the winners after a round of 67, seeing him finish at four-under-par with Miller still having a couple of holes to complete.
A birdie on the 17th pulled Millar level with long with the Canberran finishing with two pars to finish the round on four-under-par.
Alex Edge was a shot further back at three-under-par after finishing with pars on his final four holes.
After what has been an interrupted last 12 months for the professionals on tour, Long said it was great to be out competing at events.
"I have played a couple of competitive games in the last 12 months, so I have been looking forward to this as a warm-up heading into the NSW Open," he said.
"Played a few senior events last week and now just playing with these young guys."
Long, who competed in Griffith two years ago, was full of praise for the conditions of the course.
"I don't say this lightly. In my 32 years on tour, I have seen a lot of golf courses, and this is equal of any around," he said.

"I'm surprised the membership isn't stronger here because it is a really wonderful golf course."
It has been a good weekend in the MIA for Millar, who finished joint winner in the two-day Pro-Am in Leeton and was happy with his form so far.
"I have been playing pretty solid. Hitting the ball nicely, mostly in play and giving myself the opportunity," he said.
"I probably left a bit out there in Leeton over the two days, only had the one boggy which I think was my first hole but haven't made another one through Leeton and today.
"I have always loved the golf course here. As they said in the presentation, the conditions are fantastic, and the greens are so good, and it is really good out here, and it is a pleasure to have the opportunity to play."
The professionals moved onto the Yenda Pro-Am on Tuesday before they will head to the two-day event on Wagga over Thursday and Friday before the NSW Open gets underway next Thursday in Sydney.
