The Eagles won the toss and elected to bat but were on the back foot early, with Christian Dall'est (1/12) taking the wicket of Urvil Patel (5) while Fletcher Robertson (3) was dismissed Seamus Maley (2/12).
Aidan Ashcroft (36), Ted Files (18) and Kadon Williams (20) were able to get their side to a defendable total of 6/101 off their 25 overs.
Manan Dave (0) was run out early while Ranitu (5) fell to the bowling of Ted Files before Maley and Dall'est tried to get their side back on track.

They put on 33 runs for the third wicket before Angelo Licastro (1/12) struck to remove Dall'est (15), while Maley (23) was dismissed 16 runs later by Rajinderpal Brar (1/10).
No other Diggers batsmen were able to get a start as Files (2/9), and Bhavia Chaudhari picked up a wicket each while there were two run-outs to see Diggers fall seven runs short of the target.
