Conditions for running have been ideal while at the same time familiarity with the new track, and Feral fitness has contributed to these outstanding results. Clearly, virtual running, often with no one else in sight, has not dampened the personal competitive spirit.
Currently, in the long course competition, Hayley McLeod on 101 points leads by 27 points ahead of Hamish Gunn on 74 points. By a strange coincidence, the margin between the 1st and 2nd in the short course is also 27 points. Chloe Morshead has 110 points and Cooper Savage 83 points.
Standout performances taking a minute or more from their previous best in the long course included Derek Goullet, Britt Mayo, Carmel Bodger, Louanne Bortolin, Jeanette Codognotto, Tom MacKerras, Anthony Salmon, Suzanne Biondo, Sharon Careri, Janet Mazzarolo and Vince Restagno.
In the short course Renae Savage, Harry Morshead and Steve Munro shaved 30 seconds or more from their previous PB.
Results from race 3 were: - Long course Hayley McLeod 1st, Derek Goullet 2nd and Hamish Gunn 3rd and in the short course 1st Chloe Morshead, James Morshead 2nd and Angus Munro 3rd.
