Down came the rain, but the diehards did not let rain stop them and 44 turned out to play.
The monthly medal has been transferred to this coming Saturday, September 11. They played a single stableford instead.
Despite the wet, Bryan Trembath fired par 71 to take out A Grade on 36 points, out in one under par, carding birdies on the 2nd, and 5th, then came home in one over par 36, birdieing the 17th, and 18th.
Jeff Wiscombe 35 points runner-up, carding eight pars on a countback over Jason Magoci 35 points.
John Badoco 36 points won B Grade with six pars on a countback over Phil Plunket 36 points with six pars on a countback over Jason Randall.
James Wythes 40 points won C Grade, a great score in the wet, carding four-point par on the 4th. Rob Cappello 38 points, runner-up.
Ngarau Noa provided the day's highlight, jamming his second shot into the cup for an Eagle two on the 15th.
Vouchers went to 32 points.
Father's Day Sunday saw players turn out in huge numbers to contest a medley single stableford with 115 players.

The competition was played on the shortened white markers course.
Wayne Tyndall 39 points won A Grade, ahead of Tuiru Phillip 38 points.
Daniel Bergamin 39 points best in B Grade, Alf Franchi 38 points runner-up on a countback over Lama Lolotonga and Robin Salvestro 38 points.
Alan Le Broque best score of the day, 42 points won C Grade, Solonika Pologa 37 point second.

The Griffith Golf Club is featured in this months edition of Inside Golf, now available at the Club.
The Junior Golf Clinics, due to COVID are not being held, but private coaching, one on one with the Club Pro is available.
The general public is advised that the Course is open for social play every day, tee-off times from the Pro Shop on 69623742.
Masks must be worn in the Pro Shop.
Today's event is a single stroke, Saturday another single stroke for the monthly medal and also the Second Round of the Handiskins, Sunday a medley single stableford.
The veteran's competition will resume on Thursday with a single stableford.
With last Wednesday's golf cancelled, the veteran's Thursday competition was opened to all members, with 73 players contesting.
Jeff Wiscombe 41points won A Grade ahead of Gerry Cox 38 points.
Mick Catanzariti 42 points easy in B Grade, Pat Payne 36 points runner-up.
Cec Spence 43 points won C Grade, up and coming Blake Millis 42 points second.
Vouchers went to 33 points.
