The Black and Whites were one of the clubs who will be most impacted as to how the season will wrap up.
Their under 16s and first grade both finished as minor premiers while the League Tag and reserve graders were both able to pick up wins in the first round of finals, the day before the lockdown started.
While president Craig O'Keefe is happy to see a way forward and getting back out on the field he is hesitant that those plans will be able to come into effect.
"From my perspective, it's good because it gives us a chance to play some football," he said.
"I'm just not sure that it's going to happen because of the restrictions."
With the minor premierships in 16s and first grade, they would stand to become premiers should the season not get back underway but O'Keefe isn't a fan of the connotations that might have.

"Everyone is saying that if don't get to play football then the minor premiers end up premiers but in my mind that isn't a premiership," he said.
"We would rather have the chance to actually play and potentially win it and in all honestly I'd rather we have the chance to play and lose than to win it (premiership) just because we were minor premiers. You don't want a 'fake' premiership hanging around your neck."
It looked like the two clubs celebrating their centenary this year, Leeton Greens and the Black and Whites, would face off in a grand final if the season were to resume.
