Griffith's run of car fires has continued after police responded to an alight car on Beelbangera Road. The new incident comes just a week after the two most recent incidents were reported.

The police were called out to the incident in the early hours of the morning, at around 2:30 on July 10. Nobody was injured or present at the scene when police arrived.
The car was extinguished by the RFS but was completely destroyed. Also found at the scene was an emptied bottle of lager.
Acting Inspector Mark Griffith said that it's suspected to be deliberately lit, and urges anyone with information to get in contact with police.

Last month saw a string of car fires, including one in Benerambah Lane and a Hilux stolen from a Coolah Street home. Along with the Scenic Lane and Kidman Way incidents, this marks the fifth fire in under a month.
All of the incidents have occurred in the early hours of the morning, between midnight and 6:30am. Investigations are ongoing.
Investigations into last week's spate of house fires are still ongoing as well.
