Allan Jones with a PB net time of 28m44s blitzed the field finishing 43 seconds ahead of second placed Graeme Lyons. Lyons also scored a PB 28m12s and his 2nd place was despite an increased handicap of 30 seconds.
Adrian Baird was 3rd and Niva Scremin in 5th place was the first female. After last week's triumph a full minute was added to Moreno Chaippin's handicap. Chaippin ran 8th, and largely because he has participated in all 8 runs so far has cemented his lead in the competition.
In the short course Ruby Kenny was first home followed by brother Jai, then Digby Jones who was followed by short course competition leader Jack Jasnos in 4th place. Nate Mingay was again the fastest male and Chloe Morshead was the fastest female.

Other notables in the long field include Tom Makerras, Ashley Pianca and John Johns, all three are within the top ten points scores for the long course. Gary Signor has put in a creditable performance each run of this competition.
Consistent achievers in the short course include the Vecchio family consisting of Callum, Savannah, and mum Tracy along with Chris and Kate Morshead. Others who can return home satisfied with the weekly effort include Peggy Carpenter, Karen, and Eva Edgcome Lucus.
