They will look to start this weekend when they host a Brindabella side who are sitting just behind them on the table when the side's face off on Sunday afternoon.
Coach Luke Santolin knows getting a result this weekend is crucial.
"It is a game at home, and we always want to do well at home," he said.
"We should have a full squad to choose from and a strong desire to get back to winning ways.
"It has been a big learning curve so far this season."
The side has now played five games this season, picking up two wins and three losses, including two in a row, and the Yoogali SC coach feels his side have learned a lot about themselves.
"I think we almost have to reset our goals and almost earmark the games where we should be banking the three points and take a bit more of a methodical approach," he said.
"Five games in, and we are only finally starting to who we are as a team, what our best XI is and things like that.
"I think from this week onwards there shouldn't be too many things we don't know about ourselves."

Having fallen to a 1-0 defeat to Canberra White Eagles last weekend, Santolin said it was clear what his side needed to work on following the game.
"For all of the possession that we had, we probably found that we were devoid of ideas at times," he said.
"What we learnt is that having more possession doesn't translate into goals, and we have been working at training on how if one thing isn't working, we have to try something different.
"We will do it again on Thursday, and hopefully, we will see a different outcome on Sunday."
It will be a busy fortnight for the Yoogali SC side as they prepare for the FFA Cup qualifying semi-final, where they drew an away trip to take on Tigers FC.
"Being in the last four all of the games were going to be difficult," he said.
"We would have loved to have gotten the home game. I think Tigers are coming fourth in the NPL1, so they are no mugs.
"If we didn't want these sorts of challenges, we shouldn't enter this competition."
