Griffith Blacks coach Chris McGregor sees plenty of positives of making the trip to the Bulls at the early stages of the season.
"I'd much rather be going up there now when it's not freezing compared to the middle of June or July," he said.
"It will be a nice time to be up there it is a nice oval."
While the side may be without a couple of players this weekend, McGregor still feels his side will be in a good position as they look to secure their first win of the season.
"I've got a few out due to unavailability with over commitments, so there have been three or four changes, but outside of that, everyone has pulled up pretty well," he said.
The one main concern heading into the weekend is the broken nose sustained by Daniel Bozic, but McGregor is hopeful he will be able to overcome the injury in time.
"Boz has a bit of a sore nose," he said.
"Hopefully he will be right for the weekend just worried about a bit of restriction in his breathing at the moment, but once the swelling goes down again, he should be right."
The side will be coming into the weekend with plenty of confidence, having come within five points of the Waratahs last weekend, and McGregor said the spirits around the squad have been really high.

"Still good numbers at training last night with around 55 there," he said.
"We had a good chat about the weekend, and everyone knows where we let ourselves down, and there were a lot of good signs out of the weekend."
Heading up to take the Bulls will see McGregor face a team that he doesn't know too much about but is expecting it to be a physical encounter.
With that in mind, the Blacks coach knows his side will have to impose themselves early in the match.
"We need to be a physical presence again and probably just do a few things just a little bit different," he said.
"There was nothing on the weekend that was overly concerning after the video session. Everything was easy fixes.
"We just need to make sure we are sticking to our structures. Our structures will work if we get into them.
"They (Tumut) are always physically tough but really haven't seen or heard too much about them in the offseason."
The action at Tumut will get underway at 1pm with second grade, followed by the women's 10s game at 2.10pm. The first-grade game will wrap the action up with kick-off at 3.15pm.
