In a competition which saw some of the best reserve grade sides from around the area come together for what was the first game in almost 18 months for many players, it was the Dragons who came out on top with an 18-14 win in golden point.
The Springs finished top of their pool after they came away with a 10-4 win over Group 20 reserve grade premiers Darlington Point Coleambally while took a convincing 26-14 win against Yanco-Wamoon before falling in their final pool game in a narrow 14-10 loss to Black and Whites.
It was a similar story for the Lizards as they started with a 16-8 win over the Black and Whites and then followed it up with a six-point win over DPC. Their final pool game saw them unable to be separated in a 10-all draw with Yenda.
