Travis Millis blitzed the field last Saturday at the Griffith Golf Club to take out the Col & Pat Murdoch St. Patrick's Day trophy, an honour board event, carding 41 points, in a single stableford.

He fired 76 off the stick with eight pars, home in 39 strokes with another five pars.
Brett Angel won A Grade, carding 37 points, nailing a birdie on the 8th., Tuiru Phillip runner-up on 35 points, birdieing the first on a countback over Trent Anderson.
John Gale 38 points won B Grade, carding six pars ahead of Owen Stubbs 37 points with four pars, Ryan Grieve 40 points best in C Grade, draining a birdie on the 9th.
Junior Blake Millis, son of Travis, scored his first win, runner-up on 39 points, only one behind his Dad, carding a four-point par on the 15th, on a countback over Adam McCann and Mike Gaffey.
Sam Ranney won the 4th pin, Keith Woodbridge 7th, Jason Bartlett 11th, Toby Maher 16th, Alf Franchi 8th, and 15th.
Vouchers went to 32 points.

A single stroke on Sunday with 46 players, saw Ky Garrett smash his handicap, taking out C Grade with a low 59 nett, shooting 92 off the stick over an unlucky Gary Argus 62 nett, 82 scratch.
A grade winner Trevor Richards also lit up the course, firing two over par 73 for 66 nett. Llisoni Koroi 68 nett, runner-up on a countback over Darren Forrester.
Grant Gyles 70 nett won c Grade on a countback over Rob Trembath 70 nett.
Dan Dossetor won the 7th pin, Richards 8th.

The quarter-finals of the McNabb Caltex Handicap Matchplay were also completed with Gary Hartnett d Bryan Salvestro 4/3 and will play Brett Polkinghorne in one semi, who defeated John Badoco on the 19th. Mark Townsend won 1 up over Nathan Campbell to play Brett Angel who also won one up over Alf Franchi. Matches to be played by Sunday, April 4.
With the resignation of Kristi and James, the Club is seeking volunteers to help with the running and maintenance of Clubhouse area. A list is in the Pro Shop for all tasks. Please contact Wayne to volunteer.
Today's event is a single stableford, competitions over Easter are medley stablefords, Good Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
There were 32 players in last Thursdays veterans single stableford in two grades.
Lance Gilbert 39 points won Div.1 over Tony McBride 35 points.
Bill Brown 33 points won Div.2 on a countback over Len Sexton 33 points.
Pro Pins won by Peter Henderson and Geoff Smith.
