The Nomads defeated the Cougars in the Twenty20 decider, but a strong bowling performance had Coro in a strong position.
The Coleambally side won the toss and elected to bat but was on the back foot from the very beginning.
Teei Piawi (2/11) picked up the early wickets of James Lyell (1) and Cooper Smith (0), while Dion Pascoe was also able to make a breakthrough with the dismissal of the dangerous Jack Weymouth-Smith (5).
Sanil Chilukuri and Luke Roberts tried to get their side back on track, but that did last long, with Chilukuri (6) knocked over by John Witherspoon.
Roberts and Shaw were able to add 11 before Shaw (7) was bowled by Shane Hutchinson.

Hutchinson (3/2) and Witherspoon (3/13) were able to rip through the lower order from the Nomads as they were bowled out for 42 with Avinash Gurram (0), Sam Breed (2), Neil Burke (2), Shaun Iddles (2) and Roberts (6) falling without troubling the scorers.
Time was well and truly on the side of the Cougars needing to score at just over a run an over to secure victory, but it was never going to last that long.
Brett Crooks and Matt Signor were able to make a strong start as they put on 22 runs in the first six overs before Crooks (10) fell to the bowling of Iddles (1/5).
Signor (14*) and Peter Taprell (15*) only needed another five overs to secure second grade title with a nine-wicket win.
