After winning the toss and electing to bat, Leagues were on the back foot early, with Ben Leach (0) falling to the first ball of the day when he was caught by Tom Shannon off the bowling of Luke Docherty.
Andrew Madden (0) followed four overs later when he was knocked over by Docherty, leaving the Panthers looking vulnerable at 2/6.
That was until Leagues captain Jimmy Binks and Matheson were able to put their heads down and work through the next 30 overs.

The pair were able to put on 56 runs before Binks (20) was bowled by Gulfam Ahmed, and he struck again in his next over to dismiss Logan Matheson (0) right on the tea break.
Resuming after the tea break at 4/61, Matheson and Bozic were able to kick the scoring rate along with a partnership of 64 runs which saw Matheson post his fifty before Bozic was caught out by a full toss from Docherty (3/39).
Matt Keenan (6) fell just after drinks when he was trapped in front by Josh Carn while the left-arm quick was able to bring an end to Matheson's (61) while Noah Gaske (0) became Ahmed's (3/26) third victim when he was caught behind.
Raj Singh (14) added some late runs before Leagues were bowled out for 156 to bring the first day of the final to a close
