Griffith Demons' male and female sides are now both through to the MIA League finals after a weekend away at West Wyalong.

The girls managed to secure a 52 to 42 victory, with their full-strength squad managing to overthrow the competition heavyweights away from home.
When asked about the possibility of winning back-to-back titles, Caroline Snow said that she's feeling positive her side can do it.
"We are feeling quietly confident, but the competition has been pretty close," Snow explained.
"If a few things went West Wyalong's way, it could have easily been their game."
The male division saw the Demons lose their undefeated title, with their half-squad challenging West Wyalong and losing by nine points.
Due to the end of their perfect season, the boys in blue must compensate in their fixture against Narrandera by winning comfortably.
As the absence of a number of key players played such a critical part in ending Demons' undefeated form, the side will need to be at full strength in order to put the hurting on a struggling Narrandera outfit.
In the game against West Wyalong, the Demons led 49 to 45 at the end of the third quarter. However, an unexpected shift in play made for a comeback against the outnumbered rookies.
Despite concerns over the venue for the big dance, both Demons teams can take pride in the fact they have made it to the 2019 MIA League finals. Collective team efforts in both divisions are what made this possible.
