Esteemed Australian pop-rock band Thirsty Merc played at the Griffith Leagues Club on Sunday as part of their current national tour.

However, this particular gig had a twist. All of the proceeds from ticket sales were donated to the McGrath Foundation and the Griffith Breast Cancer Support Group, as part of the Pink Up Griffith campaign.
The Thirsty Merc-Leagues Club partnership saw $7,672 raised in the name of breast cancer awareness, making for a $3,836 split.
After an outstanding performance from the Aussie trio, the day was credited as a major success by all of the event organisers.
Jessica Zandona, Pink Up coordinator of 2019, was especially thankful for the day. She credited its success to those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.
"We had a great afternoon at Thirsty Merc," Ms Zandona said.
"A big thank you to Brittany, Nicole and the team at the Leagues Club for organising everything so well."
