After the Waratahs failed to find touch with a penalty, the Greens were able to take the ball up the other end to score through Albert Gibson.
Leeton was able to extend their lead with tries to Semi Rokodinono and Lemeki Cagialau before both sides were reduced to 12-men for the remainder of the game with Leeton's Kieran Cates and Waratahs' Ethan Williams sent from the field after a melee.
Gibson was able to score his second of the afternoon to see the Greens leading 18-0 at the break.
Rokodinono scored the first try after the break before Daniel Judd gave his side a chance with the gap sitting at 20 points with just over 20 minutes remaining.
Leeton had other ideas as another two tries to Rokodinono, and while Caleb Wiliams and Lucas Innes scored two late tries for the Waratahs, Leeton stayed alive with the 14-point win.
