Conlan has enjoyed a strong season at the Swans with 54 goals from 15 games.
He will go into Saturday's final round clash against ladder leaders Wagga Tigers at Robertson Oval with a four-goal lead over Coolamon centre-half-forward Joe Redfern.
Both men are looking to win the goalkicking title for the first time.
Redfern kicked four final quarter goals in last week's loss to Tigers to move to 50 for the year.
Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong captain Ben Walsh is close behind on 49 goals but the Lions have the bye in Saturday's final round.
Redfern will line-up for Coolamon against the bottom-placed Leeton-Whitton at Kindra Park.
Redfern kicked three against the Crows last time but has enjoyed a bag of nine goals against Narrandera earlier in the year.
