An off-duty civilian employee of the NSW Police Force has been charged with drink-driving after returning a positive reading for alcohol in Griffith.

The 31-year-old man was stopped for a random breath test on Mackay Avenue in Griffith at about 11.20pm on Wednesday March 7.
After a positive reading, the man was arrested and taken to Griffith Police Station, where a breath-analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.171.
The man was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice for the offence of drive with high-range prescribed concentration of alcohol.
His licence was suspended.
About 8.15am on Thursday March 8, the 31-year-old man was detected driving at Conargo.

The man is due to appear at Griffith Local Court on Wednesday April 11.
He is attached to a Police District in the Southern Region.
