Ateca is only six years old and has been dancing since she was two.
She has dreams of becoming a ballerina and being a dance teacher when she grows up.
Mum Catheryn Mcpherson went along on the tour, and said it was an amazing experience for all of the team.
“Ateca absolutely loved it, and I think with the other dancers, they treated her really well”
“She didn't come out of her shell because she’s not that type of kid, but she came out of herself more because all the dancers treated her like she was family.”
The 15 day tour ended on Tuesday 11, and Ateca came away with memories that will last a lifetime, especially of all the friends she made, and of her favorite outfit.
“My favorite was the pink and black one with sparkles, I wore it at Madam Tussaud's.”
“She went to the Pulse dance convention at Vegas where she did 12 classes there over three days, and then she did another two classes, but she wasn’t allowed to dance at Disney because she was six months too young” Catheryn said.
Despite missing out this time, Ateca is hopeful to experience the magic of Disney next year.
A lot of hard work and dedication went into preparing for the tour, with Ateca practicing every day.
“Sometimes she didn’t want to do it, as most kids hate practicing, but she did and her hard work paid off when she was on tour, especially considering her age.”
“Watching the kids there dancing was amazing, and to see it all come together at the end after all the practicing and all the hard work every family put in to make the tour a reality, it was truly amazing.”
