When Shannon from Shannon’s Dance Studio heard the news her studio would travel to America next year to perform a series of shows, she was over the moon.

“It’s something that for regional kids, could be a once in a lifetime event,” she said.
“It can open doors for these children. “When you do the workshops you may be spotted, you may be approached for a scholarship at a dance studio.”
Roughly 30 dancers will make the trip, ranging from age six to 22.
They’ll perform at Universal Studios, Disneyland and take part in a number of classes in New York during the trip, just to name a few.
This doesn’t come cheap though. They’ll be busily trying to drum up enough money to send as many dancers over as possible and are in the process of coming up with sponsorship packages.
