The strategic plan, the primary document for the overarching goals of the council and the city for the decade ahead, has been drawn up based on consultation and the existing CSP, "Guiding Griffith 2040".
The plan has been written, and council will vote to put it on display from February 8 for one month, for the community to have their input during a workshop in February and make a submission for change if desired.
After the exhibition period, it's hoped to be formally put in place from March 22.
Council will also be voting on an application for sponsorship, received from the Riverina Field Days event. Council sponsored the event in 2018, 2019 and 2021 with the recommendation from management suggesting a $5000 sponsorship and in-kind support.

An endorsement is also being sought from council to formally lodge an application to the Australian Government under the Building Better Regions Fund, with applications closing February 10.
The application is aiming to accelerate the development of further residential housing lots in the Collina Precinct. The scope of works includes the extension of Clifton Boulevard by approximately 850m to the intersection of Rifle Range Road and the upgrade of that intersection.
The council meeting will take place from 7pm on Tuesday, February 8. The meeting will be livestreamed through the Griffith City Council Facebook page and minutes will be posted on the Griffith City Council website at a later date.
