Police are searching for a 2003 grey Toyota Prado that was stolen from the Griffin Plaza carpark through unknown means, as a spate of thefts continue across the region.

A stolen white Hyundai i30 was set ablaze last night, being seen ablaze along Collins Road by a neighbour. The neighbour, believing it to be a possible house fire, called police and firefighters who responded to find the car alight.
The car was stolen from Nelson Road between 9pm on January 31, and just before 4am when it was spotted. While police have canvassed the scene and are making inquiries into CCTV footage, the culprit hasn't yet been identified, with police appealing to the community for assistance.
A driver was found with a shockingly high blood alcohol at around 2:30am on January 29, recording 0.225 on the breathalyser. A black Holden Barina was pulled over along Bridge Road, after police were informed by a member of the public that the driver was intoxicated.
A 37 year old male was conveyed to Griffith Police Station due to the high reading and has been charged with a high-range PCA.

Finally, 20 dorper ewes were stolen from a property on Suburb Street, in Rankins Springs. Due to the weather over the weekend, the owner was unable to check the sheep but a later count revealed that twenty were missing.
Police have observed the condition of the fence and confirmed the sheep were taken suspiciously.
Police are making inquiries and canvassing neighbours, but any assistance from the community is appreciated.
