With the competition now on a two-week break, what better time to gaze into the crystal ball.
Coro Cougars
Currently: First
With their top order now finding form and the return of Harry Steele proving to be fruitful for the Cougars, they could be a team that is hard to stop come the business end of the season. After suffering a slow start to the season, captain Haydn Pascoe has been in fine form in the two weeks leading into the Christmas break with an unbeaten hundred against Exies Eagles backed up with a run-a-ball 41 against Leagues.

Exies Diggers
Currently: Second
With a team that has the best batting order on paper, the team hasn't quite been able to fire on all cylinders, but even with the duty's of going on with a total being shared around, they have the ability to be dangerous at come the end of the season. The opening combination of Dean Bennett and Paresh Patil has been laying the foundation for the side more often than not this season, and the success of the opening duo will be a good barometer for the rest of their season.
Prediction: First
Hanwood
Currently: Third
The best bowling of the attack in the competition Hanwood could see them there or thereabouts again this season. The one concern will be their injuries, with opening batter Oliver Bartter still facing time on the sideline while Josh Carn is under a cloud, having injured his calf last time out but could be right after the two-week break.

Exies Eagles
Currently: Fourth
The Eagles have been blooding some new blood into the side, and some of the old heads have been standing up. Sanil Chilikuri has been a handy addition, having been playing second grade for Coleambally for the past could of seasons. Connor Bock and Phil Burge hold the key with the bat while captain Craig Burge has been chipping in as well. It will be a close fight between Exies and Leagues for fourth.
Prediction: Fifth
Leagues Panthers
Currently: Fifth
The Panthers will be hoping the return of players such as Jack Rowston, Ryan Greenaway and Matt Keenan after harvest will make the difference to a team who has struggled in the early stages of the season. The Panthers have suffered three heavy defeats and still searching for their first win of the season.
