Chris Sutton, Melissa Marin, Catherine Stevenson, Lisa Lowes, Kirsty Skirving and Katie Billing grouped up to run for Griffith City Council on a platform of creating a 'unified council.'
"We want to find out why things aren't happening, create a unified council with no factions and build up that relationship with other organisations around Griffith like the business chamber," Mr Sutton explained.
Ms Stevenson worked inside council for fifteen years, and said that the culture within the walls needed to change.
"I just saw this discrepancy between the people who worked there. Knowing what I heard, I want to fix some policies like the gag order ... it's really quite sad," she explained.
Ms Billing questioned why Griffith's development doesn't rival smaller towns.
"I'm not from here, I just wonder why a town like Temora has all these developments coming and Griffith doesn't."
All mentioned Lake Wyangan as a key point to address.
"When I was growing up, you couldn't get a barbecue area because it was so busy. There were paddleboats, there was a shop, people were always there. Now, it's like a ghost town," Mr Sutton said.

Ms Marin said that her goals were to eliminate waste in council, make the processes more efficient.
"I want to stop the waste of money. They put something new in, then they move it and then they put it back and that all costs money... how much did the rose garden cost? Council doesn't listen," she said.
The ticket has partnered with Anne Napoli's ticket on a 'vote above the line' campaign. If the campaign is successful, it would mean all of Griffith City Council could be made up of just two tickets.
Ms Stevenson explained it.
"It's about having that open discussion and people knowing where their vote is going."
