The trio are running on a platform of community consultation, and building on what's already been done.

"We want to grow with pride, there's a lot of good things happening and we want to draw attention to that," Mr Testoni said.

Mr Curran has served on council for years and has been Griffith's deputy mayor for several of them. He explained that the ticket was focused on increasing community engagement and consultation throughout the process, rather than simply explaining a decision afterwards.

"No more presentations on what council has already decided ... we want to reconnect with the town," he said.

"Council is here to serve the community, I think we've forgotten that."

Ms Blumer added that she was keen to focus on youth, highlighting the good work in youth sport and wanting to expand that to other groups.

"I'm really invested in the arts, and the impact of that on youth. [Laurie] has done great work with sport, I want to look at what we can do for non-sporty kids," she said.

Mr Testoni agreed.

"Healthy kids, healthy minds, and you've got a healthy town. I'm very passionate about the youth in this town," he said.

"We should be training the next wave of community leaders as well, working on a succession plan," Mr Curran added.

Mr Testoni said that with a third of the existing council not running again, he was keen to live up to what they've already accomplished,

"I respect what they've already done, I want to live up to that ... I'm a simple person, trying to do what I can" he said.

Mr Curran, who , said that they needed to ensure the upcoming change is positive.

"Change is inevitable, we want it to be positive," Mr Curran said.

Mr Curran and Testoni were previously running with Ricky Chugha, who dropped out of the race due to changing personal circumstances and a temporary relocation to Albury.

"We've got a good replacement [in Ms Blumer] though," Mr Testoni said.
