In reply, it was only Chris Iannelli (12) and Shaun Iddles (23*) who were able to make an impact for the Nomads with the bat as Martyn (3/17), Hutchinson (2/7) and Nick Witherspoon (2/10) ripped through.
In the final game, weather intervened with four balls remaining in the clash between Exies Eagles and Leagues.
Vilish Patel (37*) led the way, while contributions from Teao Woetai (14) and Gurjot Singh (25) helped the Panthers to 5/113 off their 20 overs.
Peter Davis (16) made a quick impression, but it was the rest of the top order that struggled. Don Jayasuriya (25*) and Inshira Koralagama (12*) were out in the middle, with Exies needing 20 runs off the final four balls to secure a win before a downpour hit the Showgrounds.
