The action will get underway at 10am with the best juniors (under 18s) as well as A and B grades in men's and women's along with doubles and mixed doubles set to be crowned throughout the day.
Griffith Tennis Club coach and club champion since 2017, Danny Dossetor, is looking forward to the action-packed day.
"We normally do it on a Friday but thought we'd change it to a day event on a Sunday," he said.
"It has normally been well supported on a Friday night, but we struggle to fit everything in before it got too late.
"We are having a 10am start and a barbeque and hoping to make it a bit more of a social thing."
While lockdown put a hamper on competitions, tennis was one of the few sports allowed to continue in a casual context.
"Tennis has been one of the sports that you have sort of been able to play through lockdown," he said.
"You were still able to hire courts and play one on one, but competitions have only just started back in the last couple of weeks.
"It's been a funny year, but every sport has been like that so we can't really complain."
As for how he thinks he will take out the A and B grade title in men's, Dossetor is backing some of the talented up and coming juniors.
"In A grade, Ben (Mahlknecht) has been playing really well, and he just finished school last year, and another would be Keith Wells, who has been playing really well," he said.
"In B grade, maybe Digby (Paterson) he has been playing really well and is only in year nine and is probably one of our better juniors."
Mahlknecht is no stranger to the club championship final, having teamed up with Dossetor to take out the A grade men's doubles in 2020.
