Griffith residents were in for fright Sunday night as an assortment of spooky trick or treaters rampaged through the streets in search of sugary treats.

Crowds of kids swarmed the streets, using their imagination to create nightmare fueled costumes.
MacArthur Street was a favourite with houses all around town donning cobwebs, jack o lanterns, skeletons and more to celebrate the frightful but delightful event.
Grandmother Carla Spada invited The Area News to come down and take photos of her family, calling the day a 'festive occasion.'
"It's always about the children and making another fun festive day for them," Mrs Spada said.
"My grandchildren just love it!"
And whilst Halloween is an American tradition, it seems Griffith is well into the spooky spirit of things with the costumes, special effects and makeup and house decorations.
