The Black and Whites were able to keep pace with Yenda in the hunt for a top-three finish having picked up a 22-4 win over West Wyalong on Sunday.
The Panthers were able to open the scoring in the 10th minute, with Niumai Serukabaivata able to get over in the corner after they were able to take advantage of the space on the wing.
With just two minutes left in the first half, the Mallee Chicks were able to make the most of a set close to the Black and Whites line and ran the ball on the last to see Kady Amarant get over the line to make it 4-4 at the break.
After forcing a repeat set early in the second half, Ashleigh Penrith was able to get over the line, while another good attack from the Black and Whites resulted in a try to Myah Simpson.
Lily-Belle Misiloi was able to put the icing on the cake after a strong break before turning back on the defence to score under the post and take a 22-4 victory.
Black and Whites coach Shailyn Williams was pleased with her side's performance, having not played for three weeks.
"It took a while for us to warm up. I'm very proud of the girls' effort today," she said.
"We had two of the old girls back today for their first game of the season and Niumai scoring her first try, so that's good for her confidence.

"It's hard when you have three weeks off and no training and full credit to Wyalong. They are a good team, and they are going to be very hard to beat in the future."
Meanwhile, Leeton was able to maintain their perfect start to the season with a 22-12 win over Hay, while DPC took a 40-0 win over Yanco-Wamoon.
The results mean the Greens are now seven points clear at the top of the table while Yenda, Black and Whites and Roosters are separated by just a point in the battle for second while in the battle for fifth, West Wyalong, TLU Sharks and Hay are separated by just two points.
Williams knows it's important for her side to keep up the positive momentum.
"You need a good game like that to lift you up and just get going straight away," she said.
"It's a short season, so you need to play every game like it's your last."
