The showcase will bring comedians from around Australia and the world to Griffith for one night, aiming to bring some laughs to the area. Featured comedians are Marty Fields, Mimi Shaheen, Des Dowling and Dave O'Neil from around Australia, as well as a set from US comedian Ashley Fils-Aime.
The show will be hosted by Tahir, best known as 'Habib' from a variety of Paul Fenech comedies such as 'Fat Pizza' and 'Housos.' He also created 2016 comedy series 'Here Come the Habibs.'
Father-son team Mark and Josef Macedone are thrilled to be bringing the group to Griffith through their company Pristine Productions. The pair had planned to begin the showcase last year, however COVID-19 brought an abrupt end to their intended start.
Mark said he was keen to help bring some levity to what has been a difficult year for many.
"They're just coming down to make everyone laugh ... after COVID, we think everyone needs a laugh."

The pair have been producing functions for years, including the Parkes Elvis Festival every year. Unfortunately, with so many Elvis impersonators being in the United States, the event had to be cancelled again until travel restrictions ease.
The duo aren't disheartened though, shifting their focus to homegrown events. They've worked out a solid partnership focusing on their own strengths.
"Josef's awesome at doing the websites and videos, the promotional stuff. I do the behind the scenes work, lighting and sound and that," said Mark.
"Believe it or not, a father and son team can work."
The two were particularly keen for the comedy showcase, in both a professional sense and a personal one.
"We both love Tahir, we're excited to see him," said Mark. "I'm keen for Mimi, she's a bit of an up-and-comer," said Josef.
Tickets to the show are available online.
