The Bacchus competition long course was extended from 6km to 9km as Feral's prepare for the 2021 3C Tech Shop Bacchus on the Lake. The 3.3km short course remained the same.

In the long course competition leader Vince Restagno (162 points) was first to cross the line 40m58s. Restagno's placing for the five runs have been 2,1,9,3,1.
Ashley Pianca 51m32s was 2nd, she is also 2nd in the competition with 137 points. Tony Gullo 44m15s was 3rd. These are the official results, but not those on the web page.
Veteran Feral Bob Barker's best running days are behind him, but he still has a few tricks up his sleeve.
For instance, registering for the long course but doing the short course has the timing system recording Barker 1st 32m39s in record time, even out pacing Aidan Fattore. Good one Bob.
The short course saw a set of new faces on the podium. Steven Bourke 17m14s was 1st followed by Eva Edgcome-Lucas 2nd and her Mum Karen 3rd.

Behind them James Dall Broi and Callum Vecchio remain neck and neck finishing only seconds apart. Anthony Trafilo remains short course leader followed by Callum Vecchio.
Well back in the pack were some highly commendable performances. Katja McDermott returning to the Hill after a long break challenged herself to the long course, it was a struggle, but she completed it.
Like-wise Andrea Cromack, Wendy Minato, Sonia Casanova and Adrian Piccoli found the going tough but persisted to the finish line. Congratulations.
A group of Feral's for various reasons rarely seen on the podium but seen week after week enjoying a run and meeting up with running comrades.
Simon Fattore, John Dodd, Jeremy Woodhouse, Sharon Careri, Gary Andreazza and John Johns have completed all 5 long course runs this season. Well done.
Anyone wishing to join the Feral's would be made most welcome, there is no pressure to perform. New members are always welcome to join us for a 5:30pm start at the green water tower opposite Pioneer Park.
