It was a fast start from The Muffin Men, with Frank Pirrottina able to place one into the back of the net from an acute angle to give his side the lead.
The DQ Electrical side pushed for an equaliser, but Rhys Jones in The Muffin Men goal proved difficult to beat.
A mistake at the back gifted The Muffin Men a chance to double their lead, and Roy Catanzariti was on hand to capitalise before good combination play between Catanzariti and Joseph Poli resulted in Poli scoring his side's third.
Jones was once again forced into another quick double save before he was finally beaten by Luke Papandrea after he was put through by Andrew Quarisa.
Pirrottina added a second while George Pavese also found the back of the net to see Muffin Men leading 5-1 at the break.
