Griffith will have to dig deep to come back from such a loss, and their selectors will be haunted as to what to do, while Hay just thought it was a walk in the Park.
The game was scheduled for 9.30am but rescheduled to 11am and I think this was the beginning of the end for Griffith.
The biggest win was from the team of Jamie Thomas, Ricky Dickson, Paul Kretchmer and Hayden Marlin, defeating P.Boneham, C McCormack, J. Tappi and D. Page 30 shots. YES, 30 shots to 6, Hayden won 17 ends and conceded only 4.
The next team of Nathan Crocker, Matt Sylvester, Paul Lenon and Geoff Lucas showed discipline and dedication with a solid win from P. Akai, T. Tinokula, M. Kilby and M. Simong winning by six shots, 20 to 14, and also winning 14 ends and conceding 7.

On the other rink, we had the 2020 District Fours champions of Phill Ruddick, Greg Crocker, (John Lucas) and Jim Ovens holding ground and stamping feet, with a much gratifying win against John King, Mick Jaffrey, (David Joseph Townsend) and Adrin Hill 23 to 22.
Last end Mr Hill drew the shot, then Jim Ovens took it back with their first bowl, Mr Hill tried, but with everything against Griffith from the start was unsuccessful with his drive whilst Jim Ovens didn't have to bowl his last bowl, watching sunken shoulders from the Griffith side.
Jim Ovens won 10 ends, conceding 11, but this is the result when you have to step up and show that we have the talent. Hay won 73 shots to 42 shots, probably Griffith's biggest loss in the history of bowls with the final points being 10 to 0, also to add winning 41 ends and only conceding 22.
After that, we fed them and sent them home to try and work out where they went wrong.
