The match will be Souths first match of their preseason and coach Wayne Bennett is looking forward to bringing his side to Griffith.
"I think it's hugely important that we promote the game in the bush because the bush delivers so many great footballers for the elite game at all clubs," he said.
"I'm proud of our club for its commitment to regional towns and places like Griffith. This year we will also play the Charity Shield in Mudgee and a competition game in Dubbo.
"We're expecting a tough game against the Group 20 side. We're told there'll be some experienced, top-level players in their team along with some exciting young guys, so we'll need to be on our toes and put in an effort on the field that replicates what we've been doing at training over the past few months."
Bennett will be on deck for the game as well as appearing at a Sportsman's night at Griffith Leagues Club on Friday, February 19.
Members and supporters will also have the opportunity to meet the Rabbitohs players at the team's final training run to be held at Solar Mad Stadium on Friday, February 19 at 5pm.
The main game is set to take place at 7pm, but before that, there will be two curtain-raiser matches. The first game will be a match between the Group 20 and Group 17 (ProTen Cup) women's teams which will kick off at 3.30pm.
The second match will see the Group 20 Indigenous side go up against Group 20 Barbarians in the 'Roger Penrith Memorial Game' at 5pm.
Tickets for the event are on sale now at 123tix, and the Rabbitohs and Group 20 encourage people to pre-purchase their tickets due to COVID-19 restrictions in relation to capacity.
Gates will open at 3pm on Saturday, February 20.
