A $351,678 grant will go towards building brand new bathrooms at the hall, and a further $23,079 will upgrade the heating, electricity, and painting at Binya's social hub.
Vice President of the Binya Hall Trust Joy Geddes said the renovations have been a long time coming, and she was thrilled they would finally be taking place.
"We've applied for several grants to get the toilets fixed before and haven't been successful, so this is very exciting," Ms Geddes said.
"The priority will be to put state of the art disabled access in for our toilets and a nice place for parents and carers to be able to take children. This will help us cater to everyone."
Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke announced the grants on Thursday.
She said they would be a benefit to all users of Binya Hall.
"The Trust has worked hard to secure this funding and undertake these important updates to the Hall and I congratulate them on their efforts," Ms Cooke said.
"Community halls are vital spaces and give us all places to meet, celebrate and enjoy life."

She said the injection into the local economy would be "a fantastic boost" and would help ensure the Hall is fit for purpose well in to the future.
The society received the major grant through the Crown Reserves Improvement Fund (CRIF), an annual funding program which provides support to Crown land managers by funding repairs and maintenance projects.
The other grant comes from the Community Building Partnerships program.
