After three weeks off over the Christmas break, the Griffith Touch Association senior competitions got back underway on Monday night with the top teams picking up where they left off.

In the women's top division, F45 Training was able to keep pace with the top two after picking up a convincing 13-1 victory over Tropeano Harvesting.
It was a fast start for the F45 side with Amelia Lolotonga finding her way over the line four times within the opening six minutes while the lead was pushed out even further when she turned provider for Neda Amiatu's first of the evening.
Amiatu and Viv Mogliotti were able to find their way over the line before halftime to see their side leading 7-0 at the break.
Amiatu completed her hat-trick in the early stages of the second half before Tropeano was able to find their way over the line when Sara Negus was able to pull off an intercept and beat the F45 defence to the line to reduce the gap to 8-1.
Zoe Stockton and Lolotonga scored another two tries each in quick succession to push the lead out to 12-1 before Amiatu scored her fourth of the night to secure the 13-1 victory.
In the other women's games, Luna Wild was able to maintain their four-point lead at the top of the table with a 12-0 win over Dr Bortz Heart Racers while Snows Excavation stayed in second with a narrow 5-3 win over John Dodd Pharmacy.
In the men's first division, Marchiori Construction was able to take 10-4 win over Tim's Trims/James Fallon Building in their top of the table clash.
The Marchiori side was able to get over the line first with Dean Minato found in the open out wide while after having a couple of close calls the Tim's Trims side were able to get back level after Ben Jeffery created a hole for Jonathon Morris to run through.
Marchiori built a lead with Christian Callcut, Zac Whitworth and Jordan Crowe scoring three quick tries before Jeffery pulled one back just before halftime to see Marchiori leading 4-2.
A quick break from dummy half after the break from Jeffery saw James Girdler able to score to bring the gap back to a single try before Whitworth restored his side's advantage as he got over the line just before being tagged.
Whitworth scored his third of the night soon after while a try each to Dom Giorgi and Michael Agnew saw Marchiori push out to a five-try lead.
After Michael Vitucci was sent to the sin bin for repeated backchat, Whitworth was able to get over for his fourth of the night and all but put the game to bed.
Tim's Trims refused to let the game go however with Jeffery and Morris able to combine once more to see Morris get over for his second and reduce the gap to 9-4.
As time winded down, Agnew was able to score his second of the match in the corner and secure Marchiori's six-try win.
In the other men's game, Toxic was able to come away with a 13-5 win over Sumans Engineering.
