The much-loved annual Hanwood RFS Santa Run has been called off due to COVID-19 restrictions and has instead been replaced with 'Selfies with Santa'.
Instead of hopping on the firetruck to visit Griffith kids around town, Santa will be waiting at the Hanwood Rural Fire Brigade Station on Oakes Road.
Any keen kids will be able to come down and get a photo with him and check out the firetrucks on Sunday, December 20.
Attendees will also get a chance to meet the local volunteers, who give up their time to keeping the MIA safe from fires.
Santa will be available from 8am to 12pm, and from 1pm to 5pm.
Bookings are required, and can be made either by emailing hanwoodrfb@gmail.com or by messaging the 'NSW RFS - Hanwood Brigade' Facebook page.
The event is free and people must bring their own camera to take a photo of their kids with the famous Saint Nicholas.
