The family of firefighters boasted three trucks and an extensive team of volunteers, just in case disaster struck.
Luckily however, the weather was beautiful and cloudy, serving as a short respite from the ongoing heatwave.
Captain of the Hanwood Rural Fire Service, Adam Bertolissi, said he was excited about completing the run this year.
"The run promotes our brigade and promotes that we support our community," he explained.
"It's great that we've got a community here that gets behind us by donating lollies and gifts."
Santa left the fire station at 10am, heading toward Restyn Park Hanwood for his first appointment of the day.
He then made his way to City Park at 10:40am, greeting the large crowd that was waiting there for him.
After City Park, the brigade loaded Santa up and made their way to Noel Hogan Park for another 15 minute stop with the kids of Griffith.
Following that visit, Santa made his way to Apex Park, then Ted Scobie Oval and finally onto Chandler Park.
