While storms came and went throughout the day the games on Monday night were able to be played with the storm clouds staying away from Ted Scobie Oval.
It was a quick start for the Luna Wild side with Georgia Fuller, Milla Parr, Lara Rossetto and Jess Conlan able to give their side an early 4-0 lead.
John Dodd Pharmacy was able to get into good field position but was unable to make the breakthrough before they were able to spot a gap and score their first try.
Rossetto restored her side's advantage with her second of the game before Mia Patton, and Jenna Richards found their way to the line to give Luna Wild a 7-1 lead at the halftime break.
After the John Dodd defence was able to withstand a lot of pressure early in the second half, Fuller was able to get over for her second of the game and the flood gates opened.
A strong break from Rossetto saw Ella Morrissey able to get over in the corner after a stretch pass from Richards before Patton and Conlan both scored their second tries of the game.
Fuller was able to complete her hat-trick late in the game to see Luna Wild take a convincing 12-1 win.
Meanwhile, in the other games, F45 Training was able to end the undefeated start to the season from Snows Excavation with a narrow 10-8 win while Tropeano Harvesting picked up their second win of the season with a nail-biting 4-3 win over Dr Bortz Heart Racers.
There was a slight upset in the men's division one clashes with Toxic able to end the undefeated streak of defending premiers Marchiori Construction with an 8-6 win while Tim's Trims/James Fallon Building defeated Sumans Engineering 12-4.
