Newly-appointed committee member and long-time Riverina local, Narinder Sandhu, says the changes will help to uncover new ways the Sikhs can assist the wider Griffith community.
"The committee will bring in new, fresher faces with new thoughts," Mr Sandhu said.
"It's about bringing new ideas to the table and getting the younger people involved with the community.
"That's what we want to do, my goal in wanting to be part of the committee was to help the young ones."
Their humility, inspiring outlook and unconditional kindness toward locals has been adored by all, and the new committee is determined to find even more ways to lend a helping hand.
Some significant past contributions the Sikh community have made to Griffith include their donations to the hospital, bushfire relief and the McGrath Foundation.
"We decided maybe it's time for the new generation to come in and bring with them their thoughts," Mr Sandhu said.
"There's big challenges at the moment with COVID-19, so we are wanting to bring the community back together.
"We are servants for the community, and we are focusing on the young kids because they are the face of our community, and of our religion."
The seven-member committee will discuss in-depth the best ways to assist Griffith, overcoming the challenges of COVID-19 to piece the community back together again.
Mr Sandhu has welcomed the changes, thanking every Sikh community member for their ongoing support.
"Without their support we would never have been committee members, we need their ongoing support to achieve our goals," Mr Sandhu explained.
"We also need the younger kids to come into the temple and get involved with the community.
"You don't have to be say fully baptised, there are so many other ways they can help.
"It's one step at a time."
