Toby Maher fired 82 off the stick to win the A Grade medal with 69nett. Runner-up Travis Payne carded 70 nett, shooting five over par 76, nailing a birdie on the third hole.
John Badoco 73 nett won B Grade, 92 off the stick, recovering from a dirty day of 51 on the front nine to cruise home in 41 strokes. He won on a countback over Chris Gilbert also 73 nett, draining birdies on the 2nd and 8th.87 off the stick on a countback over Nick Viasoff.
Best score of the day, 68 nett to C Grade winner Ryan Grieve, shooting 99 on a countback over Mark Webb 68 nett, runner-up firing 89 off the stick on a countback over Robert Taylor.Vouchers to 78 nett.
Sunday golf continues to thrive with 61 players in a single medley stableford. Steve Matheson 36 points won A Grade, Martin Sweeney 35 points second on a countback over Sim Tuitivake.
Roy Calabria 38 points best in B Grade from Graham Sibraa 36 points. It was hot in the kitchen in C Grade, Ange Maloni won with a great score of 44 points from an unlucky Ken Waide 43 points. Vouchers to 31 points.
The Annual General Meeting was held last night, and it saw three new members elected to the Board. Ryan Harrison is taking over as Club Captain and Josh Stapleton, Brett Jones to the Board following the resignation of three former Board members.
Clinics for veterans, Ladies and Juniors are again being held. Contact the Pro Shop for details.
The Clubhouse will only open on Saturday 10.00am-6.00pm, and Sunday 11.00am-6.00pm. All protocols in place.
The Club Championships for both Men and Ladies commence this coming weekend, sponsored by Doms Motors. The final two rounds will be seeded for the top four players in each grade. D Grade has also been added this year.
The Handiskins will also be played in the third round.
The veterans played a single stableford last Thursday and also the final round of the Winter Cup. Roy Calabria won Div. 1 with 40 points, Joe Cudmore 38 points second.
Susan Tyrell 38 points won Div.2 on a countback over Craig McIver 38points on a countback over Charlie Jones 38 points. Vouchers to 33 points.
Wednesday saw another single stableford with 48 players. A Grade won by Peter Henderson 40 points from Tony Catanzariti 38 points. B Grade Lama Lolotonga 40 points on a countback Albert Donadel 40points. C Grade won by Don Catanzariti 37 points, John Wallace 33 points second. Vouchers to 32 points.
The Ladies played a single stroke last Wednesday in two grades. Kaye Dalton 67 nett won Div. 1, Yvonne Couper 72 nett second. Div 2. winner Lyn Hedditch 66 nett over Shirley Carter 67 nett. Vouchers to 76 nett.
Another single stroke on Saturday in two grades, sponsored by Mia Casa. Div.1 winner Kathy King 70 nett, Yvonne Couper 71 nett second. Div.2 Lorraine Colpo 72 nett, Robyn Hoare 76 nett second on a countback over Jenni Fisher 76 nett. Vouchers to 78 nett.
The ladies 36 Holes 4 BBB Stroke Championships final round was played on Sunday. Liz Graham and Donna Dossettor 170 nett claimed the title from Jenny Thomas and Anne Hicks 184 nett.
