A digital conference meeting was due to be held on Monday night, but it was postponed.
Group 20 was made aware by NSW Rugby League that it would have more information that would need to be considered before clubs can make a decision on the 2020 season.
With that in mind, it was decided to postpone the meeting so clubs could have the full picture before proceeding.
Group 20 is leaving it up to each individual club as to whether or not they will, or are capable of, playing in 2020.
It has been determined that the competition will get underway by July 18 before a finals series is held in September.

Group 20 operations manager Rocci DiSalvatore said there had been some new rulings and protocols coming in from the state government and NSW Rugby League.
"We wanted the clubs to have the full picture and all of the information before they make their decision," he said.
"That's why we postponed the meeting.
"(As of Wednesday), we still haven't received these new protocols, so it's too early to say what date it will be rescheduled too."
There's many areas clubs will need to address as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This will be everything from crowd size and how a competition day will actually look to hygiene measures and really whether or not a club can afford to play in a limited capacity.
Gate takings will likely be significantly impacted and there's also the question of whether or not players think it's "worth" taking to the field to compete in a reduced season.
"There's so much clubs are having to weigh up," DiSalvatore said.
"That's why we want them to have all of the information in front of them and the time to discuss it with all of the relevant people within their clubs.
"It's very difficult for everyone I am sure."
