Gates open at 11am on Saturday, with the first race starting at 1.30pm. The famous Jillaroo Spring and Jackaroo Dash will be held between race five and six. Fashions on the field judging begins around 2pm, with six categories and $7000 of prizes. Entry on the day is $20.

Exhibition celebrates art by western Riverina women
Art by 10 Riverina women will be the focus of Each for Equal. The exhibition is timed to coincide with International Women's Day in March and celebrates cultural, social and economic achievements by women.
COMMUNITY CRAFT
Project to take centre stage at Griffith Regional Art Gallery
Residents are being invited to contribute to an upcycled community art project which will be exhibited at A Day in the Orchard later this year. The project is led by Jess Forster and Kristy-lee Agresta, and contributions are welcome from the community. The work is being hosted at the Griffith Regional Art Gallery. Residents of all ages can help create something unique every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2pm until March.
SOUL FAMILY EXPO
First-ever expo to take over Exies Bagtown to showcase spiritual and holistic care
Griffith's own spiritual expo kicks off at 9am at the Exies Bagtown on Saturday. Local providers of holistic, spiritual and alternative care will showcase their services and wares. Entry is by gold coin donation with proceeds to go towards Griffith and District's Motor Neurone Disease Support Group and 2MIA Community Radio.

The Coro Club hosts Cherry Bomb from 7.30pm on Friday. Perfect Strangers will entertain guests at the Southside Leagues Club's Alpen Terrace from 8.30pm on Friday, which will be followed by Trouserpants at 8.30pm on Saturday. Me & the Girl take the microphone at the Coro Club from 7.30pm on Saturday. Cherry Bomb are performing at Hotel Victoria from 8pm Saturday. DJ K-ONE will perform at the Area Hotel from 10pm on Saturday. Sunday sessions start at the Southside Leagues Club from 2.30pm with the Ali and Ben.

Train Tours of Bagtown begin at 11am on Sunday
For those eager to learn about the city's origins, guided tours around Pioneer Park Museum with the museum's curator will run through the day. Entry is $15 for adults and $10 for children.

Games to attract hundreds for two days of sports
Barellan's Masters Games features nine sports played across two days with an emphasis on fun and participation. Registration opens at Barellan Sports Ground from 7.30am on Saturday and 7am Sunday.
SUNDAY MARKETS
Fresh food, crafts and more at Griffith Showgrounds
Griffith Rotary's markets open from 7am until midday on Sunday. Stallholders will have everything from fruit and veg to home-made craft.
