Leagues were able to claim the early wicket of Mitchell Williams-Hedges (0) after he was knocked over by Tom Greenaway, but the Cougars were able to rebuild through skipper Haydn Pascoe and Dean Bennett.
The second wicket pairing was able to get the score to 60 before Pascoe (22) fell to the bowling of Leagues skipper Paul Plummer.
Bennett (50) was caught off the bowling of Conor Edenden (1/19) just after posting his half-century while Rob Rand (11) followed soon after.
Angus Boulton (22) and Tim Rand (10) were able to keep the scoreboard ticking over before Plummer (3/33) picked up two wickets to see the Coro side finish their 40 overs on 8/157.
The Panthers chase got off to a poor start that they were never able to recover from.
Ryan Greenaway survived two drop catches off the first two deliveries from Alex Flood but at the third time of asking the catch was taken by Dean Bennett.
The bowling of Flood proved challenging to handle as he picked up the wicket of Matt Kennan (2) in the following over while Ben Signor struck to remove Reece Matheson (2).
Edenden joined Ben Leach out in the middle, and the pair were able to put together the biggest partnership of the innings of 11 runs before Leach (4) was bowled by Flood while Edenden was caught behind off the bowling of Signor (3/18).
Tom Greenaway (0) and Ryan Minato (2) followed in quick succession before the old heads of Raj Singh and Plummer tried to add some respectability to the scoreboard.
It was in vain as Singh (0) was caught behind off Flood (5/14) while Kyle Bennett picked up the wickets of Plummer (4) and Fawad Shah (0) to see the Panthers bowled out 36.
Coro will now turn their attentions to their top of the table clash with Diggers while fourth spot goes on the line when Leagues take on Exies Eagles.
