Griffith U3A, which boasts over 80 members, received a state-of-the-art MIPRO public amplifying sound system thanks to the generosity of the Yenda Producers Co-Operative.
It means for members of the Griffith community speaking to the U3A will be able to be heard in crystal clear audio.
"Griffith U3A sincerely thanks them for this generous donation," a U3A spokesman said.
"It is a vitally important piece of equipment for the club - clear, precise sound is of paramount importance for members."
"The Co-Op is ready to support groups and projects that provide special needs in the local community," Yenda Producers managing director Peter Calabria said.
"U3A is a perfect example of this, as it provides an outreach for people who wish to continue keeping their minds active in their senior years."
The group meets three times a week in the Senior Citizen Clubrooms on Canal Street.
