A highly impressive record considering the competition, however, it was not enough for Griffith to secure themselves a home final.
Instead, the boys will be travelling to West Wyalong. They are set to take on the heavyweights this Saturday in a spectacular showdown.
The Demons have met the Wildcats twice during the course of this season, with both teams recording wins against one another in some incredibly tight matches.
Their back and forth rivalry carried such a close margin throughout the season, that the minor premiership, and more importantly the venue for finals, had to be decided by points differential.
"This weekend we've got no real excuse not to go over there and get it," Demons coach Arch Cullen said.
"It's a good challenge and we want to go over there and bring it (the title) back, so we have the bragging rights for it.
"That's what it's all about."
The perfect mix of junior athleticism and senior experience has helped Griffith capitalise throughout their entire season.
Now, they need to find the form that secured their grand final booking, within the big dance itself.
West Wyalong secured a total of 16 league points this year with a score differential of 125.9% narrowly besting Griffith who carried 124.4% and 16 points.
Results could easily have gone differently, with a number of social occasions stealing key Demons players away from big weekends.
"The comp's been a good little one and it's been a tough season, we've just had a lot of things going on from our perspective," Cullen explained.
"Weddings, people ill, sick, injured, all sorts of stuff.
"But we've hung in there and we've given ourselves a really good chance to take it out."
Youngster Jack Gilbert will be missing from the side this weekend, being the only recorded absence in an otherwise fully-equipped Demons outfit.
Utilising strength in numbers, Griffith will have to overcome the physicality of West Wyalong, which is all-too-familiar for some of the Demons' rookies.
"You know you're in for a battle over there," Cullen said.
"We know we can beat them, so we've just gotta back ourselves to go over there and do it."
Under the guidance of the seniors in the Demons side, the juniors have been able to play at the peak of their game.
Dean Spratt, Mick Duncan and Arch Cullen have led from the front throughout the season, creating the opportunity for juniors to improve their style of play.
"All the junior blokes have been excellent, they've all been the core," Cullen said.
"In saying that, they've had good leadership around them, which worked well and gave them a plateau to work from.
"To their credit they've taken the opportunity and run with it.
"So hopefully our young blokes can step up in the final and knock over a few more points."
