The Cougars won the toss and elected to bat with Ben Signor and Joseph Bellicanta getting their side off to a strong start before Signor (19) fell to the bowling of Leo Forner (1/16). Bellicanta (18) and Mark Bennett (7) continued their forward momentum before Sam Payne (2/17) took two quick wickets.
Harrison Steele (25) added some late runs but two quick wickets to Noah Gaske restricted Coro to 7/90 off their 20 overs.
The Panthers were on the back foot early with Charlie Jones picking up the wicket of Oscar Nolan (0) before Sam Payne and Gaske got their side back on track.
The top order of Sam Payne (20), Gaske (15) and Patrick Payne (19) helped get their side into a strong position before two quick wickets from Signor (3/5) put the pressure back on the Panthers.
Ryan Minato (12*) provided the steady head as he guided his side to a three-wicket win with seven balls remaining.
Hanwood was able to send a strong message with a big win over Exies.
Only Hayden Forner (14) and Sean Culgan (10) were able to break double digits as Gulfam Ahmad (3/4) and Rahul Giran (2/1) doing the damage as Exies were bowled out for 63.
Hanwood wasted no time chasing down the target with Oliver Bartter (42) guiding his side to a seven-wicket win with 11.1 overs remaining.
In the final game of the round, Coleambally was able to pick up their first win of the season against Diggers.
Coleambally made a great start with the ball with Blake McDonald (2/3) and Chase Neutze (1/11) taking three early wickets to see Diggers on 3/17.
Krish Chaudhary (16) and Dhruvil Patel (16*) were the only players to reach double digits, but with the help of sundries, Diggers were able to reach 9/90 off their 20 overs.
With a head start due to penalties runs being awarded, Coleambally was able to pick up an eight-wicket win with McDonald (41*) and Jack Kidd (14) getting their side home with 8.4 overs remaining.
