Exies are currently six points behind the second-placed Diggers side heading into the weekend while Leagues are yet to register a point from their opening two games this season.
For the Panthers, this will be their first day game of the season with their first two being played under lights at Exies Oval, so they will be hoping the change of game time will bring the side a change of fortune.
Injuries and unavailability have made things tougher for the Panthers with two almost entirely different line-ups named across their opening two games.
The tough start to the season is summed up for the Panthers with Connor Edenden being his side's top scorer with just 38 runs to start the season while with the ball Ryan Greenaway share the most wickets for his side with Raj Singh with the pair taking three wickets each.
Exies meanwhile headed into their bye with a win over Coro after dropping their first game of the season and will be hoping they are able to continue their winning form this weekend.
Tom Spry has led the way with the bat for the Exies side with 103 runs across two innings which include one half-century while with the ball Jamie Winkler has been the pick of their bowlers with six wickets from two games.
The first-grade games this weekend will start at 12.30pm to accommodate for the Rangers players who are heading to Canberra for the Regional Big Bash.
