The Coro Cougars have picked up their second win of the fourth-grade season after seeing off the Exies Diggers side on Wednesday afternoon.

Diggers won the toss and elected bat, and after the early loss of Noah Puntoriero (3) who was bowled by Mekhi Simpson (1/28) before Angus Argent-Smith and Cade Anderson started to put the pressure back on the Cougars.
The pair put on 40 runs for the second-wicket partnership before Thomas Jamieson ran out Anderson (21) before Matthew Devery (1) fell without troubling the scoring and Jamieson knocked over Argent-Smith (19).
Tomas Goirigolzarri (12) and Meli Ranitu (16*) added late runs to see Diggers finish on 8/106.
While Coro lost some early wickets, Bebe Kenny (21), Jai Kenny (19), Cooper Rand (28*) and Noah Kirkman (10*) saw the Cougars pick up a five-wicket win.
The Hanwood and Exies Eagles game was delayed due to a school excursion.
