West Griffith SC have donated a pair of Nintendo Switches along with five games and accessories to Griffith Base Hospital's children's ward as part of the club's fundraising efforts for the year.
The club raised $1100 over the course of the season and club vice president Shanyn Catanzariti said the goal behind the donation was to give back in support of a place where one of their own spent a lot of their time.
"We have a child that plays for us that spent a fair bit of time in here this year," Mr Catanzariti said.
"It's predominantly a junior soccer club, so that's why we sort of thought try and keep it to junior and kids type charities.
"It's more for the kids that are probably stuck in bed a little bit more... at least these ones can come to them."
The side raised the money through the use of their canteen at training over the course of the 2019 season, with their donation to the hospital the third such campaign by the club in recent years, having donated to Griffith Post School Options last year.

Nursing unit manager Tracey Costin said the donation will help to make the children feel like they are at home while in the ward.
"We're really humbled they chose us and it makes a huge difference in the day of a child in hospital," she said.
"Ideally you have all kids home and well, but when you're here and stuck for 24 hours a day you need to have activities.
"Some of them are stuck in their beds and to have devices they can sit up and play and pass their time, it's perfect."
The systems were immediately put to use in the ward, with patient Ned Stewart jumping into a new game of Minecraft.
Griffith Base Hospital general manager Greg Brylski said it was great to have the backing of the community and thanked the club for supporting the ward.
"You cant put a price on a sick child's happiness," Mr Brylski said.
"It's really fantastic to see a community sporting team support your local hospital."
